What about calendars?
Check whether your existing platforms and owner software offer calendar import/export or a channel manager. Calendar feeds can lag, so owners must verify availability before confirming a direct booking. Refer to Airbnb Help and Vrbo Help for current instructions.
Before accepting direct reservations
- Set up a reliable guest contact method.
- Decide how you will confirm dates and rental terms.
- Choose secure payment and deposit methods.
- Check your insurance, taxes, permits and local rental requirements.
- Maintain accurate calendars and prevent double bookings.
- Follow marketplace terms for bookings or inquiries originating on Airbnb or Vrbo; do not redirect those guests off-platform in violation of platform rules.
